I belong to an average middle class family but what I've noticed is that people usually think I'm "rich" just because I dress sharp and carry myself in a certain way, ie I dress in minimalistic clean and well fitting clothing pieces, care more on my skin and hair health(basically overall health) more than cosmetics that just enhance the appearance AND we buy less but good quality stuff!

Might I also mention the app Down Dog for yoga. The app is free and leads you through a guided yoga practice that you can tailor to your needs and time constraints. The app is free to down load but there are subscriptions you can buy if the base level isn’t enough (though its more than enough for me). All you need to purchase is a yoga mat.

I do yoga with Adriene at home… In my home clothes or even in my underwear if it's a hot summer. The only thing you need is an unsleepy surface and of course, MOTIVATION!

Hi Chelsea! I’m loving a lot of your videos, they are great! No matter if they apply only to “Americans” but I try my best to take the necessary information and use it as my advantage!. I would really like to follow your advices as a “side job”, but here in Italy, where I live we have a very high tax rates. We pay almost 53% of our income in taxes that gets higher the more you earn, and we pay them in advance (not by the end of the year), yes we have public health care, public retirement plans and unemployment support for 2 years, but it is almost impossible to do side jobs, i tried but many times I had to return most of my extra income in taxes. It is very frustrating 😔… i feel the less effort you do, the more you earn…

Seriously? Who thinks working out is expensive? You can literally do anything you want at home for free and the average gym membership is what, $50/month? The more of these videos I watch, the less I like this channel. The content is complete shit enough of the time that, sorry, unsubscribed.

For the staycation idea. Check your local library. Some of them have tickets you can check out for local museums. My husband and I plan on using these in order to see the city we live in on a budget.

People have really poor understanding of diet. The worst thing you can do for your wallet is jump onboard with the trendiest diets. Salmon, avocados, and almonds are great, but the foundation of a healthy diet can be as cheap as beans and brown rice. I bought a pressure cooker and it has probably cooked 50 pounds of dry beans, rice, barley, lentils, rye, and potatoes for me in under a year. You'll need a collander and a good container to rinse and soak these dirt cheap Ag commodities. I add butter or fat rendered from hamburger or pork belly. It is insane that people throw away animal fat. Simply cut out the fried food, refined sugar (including fruit juice and "fancy" sugars) , and cut back on refined grains and replace those with basic whole foods and your favorite blends of spices. Make stir fry one day, then make rice the next, then make beans the third. Add the cold leftovers to the boiling hot thing you just made and you instantly have a nutritious dish at an eatable temperature. I am the cheapest person. My girlfriend hates me.

I don't think u should promote so much That meat is so bad and eat plant based protein instead… Those contain so much more carbs and can lead easily to insulin resistance then to diabetes…

Why do you guys push freezing food and meals so much? A few days of prepped meals is okay-ish, but preparing meals so long in advance(unless its some kind of meat or sauce) makes no sense. Plus, how much freezer space and energy would be spent on keeping those things frozen? :/

I once met a lovely american in Dubai, and she was shocked when we said we were on the last leg of our trip (the entire trip being almost 4 weeks). she said it was very hard were she lived to get even a straight week off, and that's such a strange concept to me. But australia is so far from most places we make the most of it (not gonna spend 1700+ on international flights for a week!!) and we do seem to have a more relaxed working culture.

I hate when people give the excuse that they aren't rich for dressing like slobs. Or pat themselves on the back for being slobs when a billionaire dresses very plainly/poorly. Usually saying something to the affect of "be rich, don't look rich". As if properly fitted clothing requires being a billionaire.

Your local colleges and universities often offer yoga/zumba/dance/self-defense classes, sometimes they're free to the public, or the school requires you register but the fees are a lot cheaper than a gym

Okay, not to be too pedantic but "regime" pertains to a form of government whereas "regimen" is a course of action, say, a plan or a routine. But I get why people are often interchange those two words. Regime just sounds fancier, more legit and more authoritative(;D).

I really love the downdog app and website to do yoga. I can do unlimited sessions with any of the features for 5.99 a month, and that is less than my Netflix and I actually benefit greatly from yoga apps.

Learn how to be a traveler, NOT a tourist. Its all in how you view your experiance. Instead of booking experiances & tourist packages, find small family run hotels and Inns the locals might stay at in the area you are traveling instead of large full service tourist hotels, find out everything you can about the area before you leave and then start with a walking tour on your first full day. Your vacation can then evolve into where you want to go, do and see by what you learned just by walking observing, meeting, and asking around. Some very special events like tickets to a Broadway show or Opera have to be planned well enough ahead but let the rest of your experiance be as a traveler, not a tourist. Youll learn more, savor the experiance more, saved more, blend in and have the respect and appreciation of the culture and people you meet.

I have a weight training workout routine, created by a PT, that I do, besides working as a cleaner. The workout helps against body injuries, you can get from cleaning. I met the PT 3x, it was expensive, but now, I workout at home, for free.

The PT told me I shouldn't do youtube workouts, with too diverse moves. I should do stable, easy, moves. I should avoid push ups, because I, & people in general, do too many pushing moves, in everyday life. I should instead, like many other people, learn to hold my shoulders back, & down, by doing pull movements, when I workout.
