Financial analysis of two publicly traded companies financial analysis of a company

by onliNEmmOAZ

Let’s do a comparison of the financial statements of two publicly traded companies. The financial battle of the tech giants! How do the numbers for Amazon compare to those of Google? Amazon versus Google is the story of shop versus search. It is also the story of Amazon Echo versus Google Home, and the products and services connected to them. Amazon vs Google is also the story of Amazon Prime Video versus YouTube. How does the technology race between these and other tech giants impact the financial scorecards for Amazon and Google (or “Alphabet Inc” as it is officially called)? Comparing the financial statements of two publicly traded companies is also a comparison of their business models! Learn to perform a #financialanalysis using these seven steps. ️TIMESTAMPS⏱️ 0:00 Amazon vs Google business comparison 0:35 Amazon vs Google market capitalization 1:04 Amazon vs Google revenue comparison 2:09 Amazon vs Google profitability comparison 3:01 Amazon vs Google balance sheet comparison 4:06 Amazon vs Google equity comparison 4:57 Amazon vs Google cash flow comparison If you want to replicate this Amazon versus Google financial comparison when financial results are released for future periods, or want to replicate the financial analysis for two completely different companies, I would recommend first reviewing the market capitalization, then revenue, operating income, the balance sheet totals and composition, and free cash flow. This should provide a high level overview of how companies compare financially. Both excellent companies to own. Though, I think I'd prefer to just buy an S&P fund for diversification and so dividends from other companies can buy more of these two indirectly.

Great video! Given your knowledge, I for one would enjoy hearing your thoughts on subjects like Amazon's recent tax situation that blew up ($0), Federal Reserve fiscal policy, Trade tarrifs between the US and China. I just think you may be able to offer a nuanced view, also that these subjects might be trendy or interesting, likely to appeal to a larger audience ?
