10:00 doesn't volatility increase the price of the option ? If we look at the BSM ?

that's a lot of ifs. Pricing seems very useful when you know where stock is going to be.

The Theta is multiplied by x100 shares correct? So if Theta says -2.1 that means the next day if I hold my option I will lose 2.1 x 100 = -$210?

Sasha, that first part made sense but once you went into the Analyser and started tweeking the numbers, that didn't make sense to me. Like, you move Time and Delta and lines move around but, I don't know the why we would be allowed to do that and were we'd move them to.

Do you have any videos on how to choose your strike price CALL or PUT on Options Chain? Like how to choose which one benefits you the most based on greeks?

All the reference sources I have looked at, including Investopedia, CBOE, etc. consider

extrinsic value and time value of an option to be one and the same, however it is my

understanding that extrinsic value consists of time value plus value due to implied volatility.

There is even an option parameter "vega" that gives the effect of a change in implied

volatility on the extrinsic value of the option. Are all the authorities wrong? If so, how do

I calculate time value and implied volatility value individually? The two added together should

equal extrinsic value.

ive always been bad with math and options are hard for me. I seem to confuse things and then have a hard time with them. You are the best learning channel out there no doubt. Could you explain the difference between selling a call and buying a put and how that affects the greeks differently since they are essentially the same thing? Any help is welcome thanks

Hi Sasha!!
Question: why did you say that volatility usually make the price go down?
were you just referring to type of option?
