Human intelligence😇😇I'm having a good time listening to your so called intelligence. Who caused this big babg theory? The '' banger '' is the one we call God. Sth cannot come out of nothing according to science. Therefore there must have been an initial force to make the big bang possible. That is God bald man😋😋
Don't buy it! Gravity, big bang, dna, consciousness…where have they come from?
Isn't nothing something, now pass that joint to me.
He is telling as if he was there for all times. His whole talk is mental speculation.
With the most recent advances in technology and even the Hubble telescope we know much of the origins of the universe was complex and it had an architect from the very beginning…so with a decade of science and DNA research we know much of what he states in this entertaining video is NONSENSE.
I like how the 'Big Bang Theory both postulates a universe 'created' from nothing, and that humans are but an infinitesimal accident with great potential but deadly flaws.
This TT is the closest I think I will get to a Religious experience.
Beautifully explained.
Don't we all love fairytale stories: Once upon a time there was no time, space or matter. But suddenly and conveniently a miracle occurred. There was something. It came out of nothing, by nothing for no reazon.
Did I mention I love science fiction? When logic and reason are set aside so your mind can fly!😄
Daniel should be 10 years old now
Bill wurtz did it in 19 minutes
How's Daniel doin
God is responsible for the creation of so much complexity.
The entire speech, and postulated conclusions, are based on 100% hypothesis that cannot possibly be examined, duplicated, or verified. In the midst of the most current worldwide event, we cannot even agree on the true origin of the covid spike protein, despite the vast global intercommunication that we have and the vast scientific know how. How then can this speaker suggest events of an incomprehensibly distant past, when he was not there with his cell phone camera, a notebook and pen, or an understanding of what was transpiring? The events he speaks of are speculative and cannot be verified at all. It is speculation upon speculation whose possibility (not probability) is only tenable by the appeal to eons and eons of time.—One more thing. He starts by affirming the laws of thermodynamics and the law of entropy, which says that the contents of the Universe tend to go from order to disorder. That is correct and believed by all scientists. But then he negates that statement by suggesting "Goldilocks" moments in time when the laws of the Universe reversed themselves. That is impossible. Where does he find that highly concentrated "something" in the midst of nothing, which exploded into the Universe? Does something ever come out of nothing?
This is the kind of presentation that leaves the ignorant and gullible masses glassy eyed and dripping with admiration for something that they just cannot fathom. People, please take a moment to think….think…think. Chew before you swallow.
All ancient science from our ancient ancestors.
The more I study science the more I believe in God.

SUPERB !!!
the history of world in 17:40 minutes
CHICKEN NOT CHICKENS UGHHHH
Earth and human beings are not the center of the universe, as he implies here. We are killing the very planet that birthed us.
Primary school lesson.
Amazing
The entire language of this talk speaks of matter anthropomorphically… it is as if matter is living, conscious and decision making which is mistaken (universe 'creates', energy 'does things', universe 'builds' complexity, gravity 'compacts', stars 'create' or 'die', atoms 'combine', dna 'copies itself' or 'learns' 'building' diversity etc).
This use of language is deceptive as it suggests it answers the 'why' questions when science simply answers the 'how' questions.
This is the problem of empiricist based scientists crossing the boundaries of metaphysics-crossing the line from 'how' to 'why'.
Excluding the vandalism perpetrated and perpetuated by humans, the earth is a moving, living purposeful incomparable work of art from our creator.
what is the nature of the lowest form ? mush
Ничего нового.
I’m stuck on how he believes nothing can explode and create something
I am writing a book about human learning. So I decided to watch this TED talk driven by curiosity. I must to say that I'm inspired to do much more than I thought I would. Thanks Dr. David Christian.
History is the Autobiography of a Madman.
So beautiful. Thank you professor 🙏
the universe did not appear out of nothing.
I wish I was there 🙂
This guy is a good example of why the proper format for information is a debate where one perspective can be challenged and questioned with another…when you just let them talk they butcher physics and say things like "it just appeared out of the blackness" way to spout creationist nonsense.
Fascinatingly put across… The Earth and entire Universe is magnificently created… We have to be the CARETAKERS of all… African Proverb puts it so succinctly :
"Do not only worry about your children… worry about your children's children too…. "
UBUNTU : "I Am because YOU are…"
Fellow-feeling is essential in all we do…
🌈🐐🙏🤘🦙🦙🦙🦙🦙🦙🦘🦘
Coming out of from nothing became bigbang? Howcome? What triggers bigbang? Lol..
What triggers the bigbang?
Give it a couple more years. Then everyone will be saying the universe is 65 Trillion years old lmao
Wow! Astonishing
And I'd like to say that we are experiencing and creating the seventh threshold: the artificial intelligence
Thank you🙏
Interesting ti me this video was posted 10 years ago and when he said "almost 7 billion people" I thought he meant 8 but then I realized how old the video is
Now imagine 500 years Later someone Showing this presentation and saying how We knew a little about the Universe in 2020!
He forgot to mention the talking snake 🙄🐍🐍🐍
One of the best TED talks ever.
God is Amazing!!! I’m lost for words.
Gone
Bill Wurtz:
Finally, a worthy opponent. Our battle shall be legendary!
The algorithm brought me here. We can’t even wear masks. How are we going to save humankind from climate change?
After 13.7 billion years we ended up with Trump.
