Feels like to a large extent more like hell rather than paradise, highly intrusive technology and humans no .longer being human. Everything is artificial including food. Technology should be used to help individuals and societies not to turn them into enslave them with corporation's dominating every aspect of human life including their access to food and knowledge.

Can’t wait for mind uploading technology to become reality, so the first few people who decide to kill themselves to turn into a bunch of memory fragments and data can confirm the quantum effects behind the emergent property of consciousness. Would also take care of the rest of transhumanist fantasies on AI.
That was fantastic! I have heard of the concept of floating cities for a few years now, and you are right it is the future. Sea levels rise and fall, as they always have, but I could envision a time when communities of like minded people migrate with the weather or each other's shared interests. If most are networked together then humans can choose their lifestyles and societal structure they are most comfortable with. They will gather energy from fusion no doubt but a combination of hydrogeneration, solar and wind generation as well. It will be a fascinating world, I really hope to access de-aging technology before I'm gone. I would love to see it!

During the 2010s, it was discovered that terraforming Mars will be more difficult than previously thought. I don't think we will see any serious terraforming projects for Mars during this century (despite Eon's instance on nuking Mars for it; a rare case of me disagreeing with Elon on something).
